Inner Light EP In Stores Now!

Dear Friends and Fellow Reggae Enthusiasts,

After months and months of hard work our EP “Inner Light” is now available on iTunes and Amazon for sale!! We would like to thank all of the people who made this, our first official release, possible…

First and foremost is God who has blessed us with the gift of music and brought us together to serve His purpose of spreading love. Secondly is each of our families who have played a vital role in shaping our lives around music. Thirdly is our extremely generous Kickstarter Donors who funded this record entirely. And lastly, our loyal friends and fans (a.k.a Roots Crew) that have supported us since the beginning!

We are eternally grateful for our daily blessings and will work harder every day to create music that speaks from our souls and hopefully engage the world in a conscious way. Being our first release we are prepared for the long road ahead and will continue promoting search for truth and purpose in everything we do from our music to our Roots Crew Service events.

This Sunday we will be participating in another Build A Habitat For Humanity which if you haven’t experience, I strongly suggest you try it out.

Then next week we will be hitting the road heading to the following places:

Thursday October 11th @ Peach Tree Tavern  (Atlanta, GA)

Friday  October 12th @ Under Belly (Jacksonville, FL)

Saturday October 13th @ Pegasus Lounge (Tampa, FL)

Sunday  October 14th @ Bamboo Willies (Pensacola, FL)

Monday  October 15th @ A & M Theatre (Panama City, FL)

About Roots of a Rebellion

It is in the very house that once belonged to Hank Williams Sr. that has risen up a new spirit, a new generation, and a new sound. In a town filled with country music comes a sound so unique and diverse that attention must be shifted. Having shared the stage with such acts as The Wailers, Iration, Zach Deputy, Ashes of Babylon, and The Movement, Roots of a Rebellion actively seeks the hearts and ears of its fans everywhere. Combining elements of reggae, soul, rock, dub, and mixed with a tight horn section and melodic vocal lines, R.O.A.R. has created a sound that is wholeheartedly unique. Hailing from various corners of the United States, each member brings something special to the table. Austin Smith, Alec Newnam, Troy Wiggins, Marco Martinez, Jeremyck Smith, Justin Smith, and Paul Violante all have relocated to Nashville to blend unique musical styles and passion into the souls of the southeast. Fueled by conscious lyrics and a groove that won’t let you sit still, Roots of a Rebellion wants you to become a part of something original and positive. Roots of a Rebellion, along with its loyal rootscrew fan base, will continue marching on representing truth and love wherever they go. Be on the look out for future R.O.A.R. shows coming through your town
